What kind of training do your care professionals receive?

Anchor care professionals undergo training as Certified Nursing Assistants, and take a state board exam to earn their credentials. Our staff also receive first aid, CPR, BLS, and Emergency training through partnerships with local hospitals. We then provide specialized training through our own on-line Anchor Academy which teaches courses on recognizing signs of stroke and heart attack, and personal skills like manners of address and etiquette, listening skills, and much more. Each team member is observed in the field and receives shadow training with long-standing Anchor care professionals and is given special customized instruction for first time visits. Often times your care team member will have additional credentials such as MA, or CDP credentials. Many care agencies do not provide such extensive training, but because of our committed staff and low turn-over, a significant investment in training for our staff is possible. This training has produced powerful positive results and has even saved more than a few lives along the way.
